8 Months

Our baby is 8 Months! I cannot believe it. I don't know what it is about this milestone, but it's really gotten to me. Maybe it's because he's crawling, and I know in the next few months he's going to be walking. And I'm sure before I know it, he's going to be running around at a park somewhere. Ugh!!!! The worst part of having children is having them grow sooooo fast. I just love to cuddle with him whenever I can, cause I feel in the blink of an eye he's going to be grown and not gonna want his "mommy snuggle time" anymore. *Tear

In honor of Bray turning 8 months, David and I decided to take him to his first trip to the Zoo. We had a fabulous time! It's been 10 years since David and I have been, so needless to say we really enjoyed ourselves. We had a blast feeding the ducks, playing with the monkeys, and talking to the birds. Bray loved being out in the 70 degrees--January day and his favorite moment was hanging out with the peacocks. Yes, they came right up to his stroller which he thought was hilarious!

We will have to wait till next month when he has his 9 month check up to see what the Mr. is weighing in at. I know he's at least 25 lbs by now, the kid is a beast. I love what my neighbor Molly calls him "Big Daddy" I think the name definitely fits the part! He's already grown out of all his clothes and is fitting perfectly in 12 months' attire.

I added some more photos from this month of Bray at home and also on a few of his outings with his cousins, Kaylynn and Ella. The girls just adore their "baby cousin" and love every minute with him. Bray will get to experience his first Superbowl and Valentines Day before he turns 9 months, so I will make sure to post more pictures soon!
