We had a great time dressing Braylon up for his first Halloween! We found the most adorable costume that just fit B to a T! The three of us had a great time sitting out on the front porch passing out candy to all the trick-or-treaters. This was the first time since we moved into the new house that David and I had a chance to meet all of our neighbors! Everyone was super nice and we were totally impressed with how welcoming everyone was. We look foward to becoming a part of this community and meeting new people. Halloween was a success.

Georgia Family Visits
Just two days after we arrived home from Vegas, The Kingcannons all the way from Augusta, GA came down for a week long visit. It has been a little over a year since we have seen Dad, Mary, Destiny, and close friend Sharon and boy did we have a fabulous time! They were able to stay at our home which was so nice that we could spend that extra time together. Aside from long talks, we hiked a mountain, enjoyed a "fall festival", and showed them all around our city. We had an incredible time and so sad to see them go!

The Big "29"...for real
Let's see, October has been a very hectic and fun month for us. For starters, Bray went on his first "extended vacation" where we took up LAS VEGAS. Mom, David, Bray, and I all took a road trip to Vegas to celebrate the last birthday of my 20's. Sad, I know. Well, Sad that I have one more year till I turn "dum dum dum dum....dummmmmmmmm" but HAPPY because we had such an amazing time! To my surprise, a few hours after we arrived in town, up walks Candice all the way from Hawaii! I was so shocked to see her and couldn't believe that she took a flight, nearly 5 months preggo with twins, to celebrate with me. We had a blast all weekend. We stayed at The Wynn and mom took me to see GARTH Brooks in concert the night of my birthday. Garth was incredible, definitely on the top of my "fav concert list" The food and sights were great, and spending time with loved ones was priceless. I will never forget this birthday!

Braylon is 5 Months!
Well, as the old saying goes, KIDS GROW UP TOO DARN FAST! Braylon is officially 5 months old and we are enjoying every single minute of it. We haven't weighed him this month, but I'm guessing the chunker is over 18 lbs by now. He is starting to make slow movements towards crawling so I know it's going to be any day now when I am going to be chasing him around the house from room to room. My new favorite thing is taste testing all kinds of new foods with him. He has now eaten green beans, squash, peaches, pears, bananas, apples, and potatoes! He loves every minute and gets very mad at mommy when I take the spoon away from his mouth! It's the funniest thing to see him throw a fit when he thinks I'm not going to give him anymore to eat. At just 5 months we are already at the stage of "when I see mommy and daddy eat, I must eat".
Despite his teething, Bray is still sleeping through the night so we are ever so grateful for that. His new favorite past time is jumping in his "bouncer" and watching his favorite shows. He gets so tickled every time his favorite songs come on. Next time I will be sure to post a video!

First of Many Cardinals Games
Well, aside from not knowing how good our Cards are going to be this year, Braylon sure enjoyed the game! We won at the last 13 seconds of the game, when Oakland Raiders missed a 38 yard field goal attempt. WOW, what an exciting game it was. Bray even managed to get a 30 minute nap during all the excitement!

Losing an Angel
On Sept 19th we lost a very dear friend, Alana Adams Royce in a horrific car crash. Alana and her son were out for "mommy-son time" when they were rear-ended causing their vehicle to roll over and into on-coming traffic. Alana's son Greg survived the crash and by a miracle is doing great today. Alana leaves behind a wonderful husband Ronnie, and 3 beautiful children. (Brooke-9, Greg-3 and Charlotte-Just 8 weeks old) Please continue to pray for this family. For those of you that had the pleasure of knowing Alana, understand what a devestaing loss this has been. However, we know that she is now at the foot of Jesus, and her work here on earth was done. Alana was the most amazing person I had ever met. Her traits were like none other, and this is why I truly felt she was an angel that walked this earth.
This pic was taken just a week before Alana's passing. I am so grateful of this time shared with her.
